Congratulations to Lynn Roberto – a recipient of the 2023-2024 Alpha Sigma Lambda Scholarship Award! ⁠

In her own words, here is a little more about Lynn’s journey:

“I live in NJ with my wonderful husband of 21 years and our 2 amazing teenagers. My family means the world to me and they have be so supportive throughout my college journey. Quite often, they believed in me more than I believed in myself! After working as a classroom aid and substitute teacher for many years, and with my own children’s college tuition looming on the horizon, I decided to return to college to finally finish my degree and begin my career as a full time teacher.

Juggling a family, college, and part-time work has been very challenging, yet rewarding in its own way. I feel proud to show my children that anything is possible with hard work, patience, and perseverance, and that you are never too old to pursue your dreams! I am honored to receive this wonderful award from Alpha Sigma Lambda.

This scholarship feels like an encouraging boost, helping me to complete my final college semesters! Thank you so much for helping me achieve my goals, I am truly grateful!”
