Amber Corrieri is the Director of Corporate Compliance and Communications at Mainstream Living, a multi-county non-profit organization that provides residential and community support services to adults with disabilities and mental illness.
Outside of her career, Corrieri has a passion for community service. She was elected to her seat on the Ames city council in 2013 and is serving her second four-year term. She is also the current President of the Iowa Alliance for Boys and Girls Clubs, Chair of the Story County Housing Trust Fund, and a member of the Ames Education Foundation Board of Directors. Corrieri has a long history of service to the community and is particularly proud of her efforts leading the construction of a Miracle League Field and inclusive playground which will open in the summer of 2020.
Corrieri was recognized as one of the Ames Chamber of Commerce’s 4 Under 40 Award winners in 2011 and received the Iowa Jaycees Outstanding Young Iowan Award in 2015.
She and her husband Damien, Director of Coaching with the Ames Soccer Club, live in Ames, Iowa with their two children Jordan (17) and Isabella (14).
Jesyka is an upcoming senior at East Tennessee State University, and she is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. She maintains a 4.0 GPA, and also currently works in the tourism industry in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Additionally, Jesyka is a mother to a 2-year-old boy, and both of them enjoy exploring the mountains.
Jesyka hopes to become a teacher who helps children to see their value and inspires them to become the best versions of themselves.
