Today we’re delighted to highlight Abioye Gbolahan – a recipient of the 2024-2025 Alpha Sigma Lambda Scholarship Award!

Highlighting a little bit of his academic journey, Abioye shares below:

“I am a Computer Science major at Morgan State University and a consistent Dean’s List honoree. I have a strong passion for software development and innovation, demonstrated through my participation in two successful hackathons: Morgan Hacks and Code Linc.

I have experience as a Digital Navigator at CCBC, helping under-served communities access internet services, and as a Peer Mentor at SCMNS, supporting first-year STEM students. I am also a University Innovation Fellow with Stanford University’s d.school and an active member of the Women in Computer Science (WiCS) organization, advocating for diversity and inclusion in STEM.

My career aspirations involve leveraging cloud computing solutions to address complex challenges and enhance accessibility and efficiency in various sectors. I am honored to receive the Alpha Sigma Lambda scholarship, which motivates me to continue striving for excellence and making a positive impact through technology.“
