Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society is proud to announce that for the 2025-2026 academic year, it granted a total of $60,000 in scholarships to twenty-one exceptional adult learners across the nation. This included six (6) $3,000 scholarships, fourteen (14) $2,500 scholarships, and three (3) $2,000 scholarships. Congratulations to all this year’s honored scholars for their perseverance and dedication.
As the leading nationally recognized honor society dedicated to adult learners, Alpha Sigma Lambda aims to honor outstanding students each year who meet the following standards:
- Have attended an institution with an active Alpha Sigma Lambda chapter
- Have completed at least 24 semester hours (or 36 quarter hours) of graded coursework at that institution (excluding transfer credits, assessments, CLEP credits, and courses currently in progress)
- Have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale for all coursework taken at the institution
- Are enrolled in either an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program at that institution
- Demonstrate a financial need that supports their pursuit of degree completion
Selection of applicants is based on academic achievement, leadership qualities, the clarity and substance of their personal statement, strong recommendations, and financial need.
