Andrea is the proud recipient of an Alpha Sigma Lambda scholarship and is currently pursuing her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Tennessee Tech. Her journey is a testament to resilience—living with epilepsy, lupus, and having fully recovered from brain surgery for trigeminal neuralgia, Andrea’s strength and resolve continue to inspire those around her. Instead of being defined by her health struggles, she uses her experiences as fuel to push forward and make a positive impact.

Balancing her full-time role as a case manager at Buffalo Valley with her academic pursuits, Andrea’s passion lies in addiction recovery and mental health. Her lived experiences give her a profound ability to connect with those she serves, and her ultimate goal is to become a counselor, guiding others toward healing and hope. Her dedication to helping others demonstrates her compassionate spirit and unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Andrea’s story is a powerful reminder that challenges can become catalysts for growth and that persistence in the face of adversity can open doors to new opportunities.
