“I joined the Alpha Sigma Lambda Society in Spring 2022 as a way to meet other students who started later than most and see how they were approaching juggling full time in life as well as a full course loads at the university level. ⁠
⁠
I was a volunteer English teacher in Brazil for 2 years before coming back to pursue my career goal of nursing. This late start provided me with wisdom, but also brought the challenges of life which is something Alpha Sigma Lambda provided the means to overcome and reach my goals in my GPA as well as in my personal life. ⁠

I plan to graduate with my BSN in 2024 from the University of South Alabama. It is an honor to receive this scholarship and be a part of such a great organization!”⁠
