Metropolitan School of Professional Studies inducts new members into Iota Kappa chapter

Fifteen undergraduate students and one faculty member from the Metropolitan School of Professional Studies at The Catholic University of America were inducted into honorary societies on Monday, April 3, 2023.

Seven students were inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society for nontraditional-age undergraduates: Donnita Anderson, Alyssa Bedward, Eleanor Carrico, Tiffany Champion, Idaleda Chaverra, Amanda Cromer-Snow, and Robin Johnkins.

Nine were the first Metro students ever inducted into Lambda Epsilon Chi, the honorary society for paralegal students: Daphne Bishop, Eleanor Carrico, Tawyna Curry, Anne Marie Geraghty, Martha Hauer, Edward Roberts, Valenzia Williams, Silvester Woods, and Kimberly Wonson. Chad Smith, the director of legal programs at the Metropolitan School, was inducted into LEX as an honorary member.

He told the inductees that a paralegal is not only the right/left hand of the attorney, but a vital part of the legal system that can help those in need.

Congratulations to all these students for their high academic achievement, and thanks to the faculty members, family and friends whose support made their achievements possible!
