This year, ASLHS will award:

• Six (6) scholarships of $3,000
• Fourteen (14) scholarships of $2,500
• Three (3) scholarships of $2,000

How to Apply: A Step-by-Step Guide

The application process is straightforward, but it’s crucial to follow each step carefully:

1. Contact Your Chapter Counselor: The first and most important step is to connect with your ASLHS chapter counselor. They are your primary point of contact for all scholarship-related inquiries. You can find their contact information in our Chapter Directory.
2. Obtain Application Information: Your chapter counselor will provide you with the specific application requirements and internal deadlines for your institution.
3. Complete Your Application Packet: Fill out the application thoroughly and accurately. Ensure you meet all eligibility criteria.
4. Submit to Your Chapter Counselor: Once your application packet is complete, submit it to your chapter counselor for review.
5. Chapter Counselor Submission: Please note that only chapter counselors are authorized to send the application packets to the Central Office after verifying GPA, completed hours at the institution, and other required information. Do not send your own application packets! Applications received this way will not be accepted.

The deadline for chapter counselors to submit scholarship applications to the ASLHS Home Office is Friday, April 18, 2025. Be sure to check with your local chapter counselor for their internal deadline to ensure your application is submitted on time.
