In our ongoing series to highlight 2025-2026 scholarship recipients, this week, we are proud to feature Christopher Hermon from Syracuse University, whose journey as a nontraditional student demonstrates a steadfast commitment to service and personal growth.

With over a decade of enlisted military service, Christopher has built a strong foundation of discipline, leadership, and resilience—qualities that continue to guide their academic and personal pursuits. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business Management with a minor in Project Management, Christopher balances the demands of full-time service, academics, and family as a parent of three.

Despite the many challenges of managing a busy life, Christopher remains committed to growth and community impact. Their future goal is to attend law school and continue serving others through advocacy, embodying a profound desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
