Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society is pleased to announce Paula Charls of Charleston Southern University has been elected to serve as our Vice President for the 2024 term.

In her own words, here are just a few fun facts about this exceptional leader:

• I was blessed to serve our country and retired from the United States Air Force. Many of my biggest learning opportunities were obtained outside the classroom in my military environments and found in many of the countries which I lived or traveled.  

• I am the Assistant Director of Veterans Services at Charleston Southern University. I have been working with veterans’ services for over five years. I am passionate about education and believe that a person should never stop learning.  

• I also work as the Operations Manager for the College of Adult & Professional Studies and Online Programs. I have been the Alpha Sigma Lambda Chapter Councilor for about two years.  

In her role as Vice President, we’re excited to work alongside Paula as we help adult students navigate their way towards graduation by providing access to and exploring opportunities.
